ENABLE TRADING
One EIP-712 “ClobAuth” signature mints Polymarket L2 API credentials (key/secret/passphrase). They allow reading YOUR orders/fills, cancelling YOUR orders and refreshing balances — they can NOT move funds or place orders (every order needs its own wallet signature). Stored AES-encrypted in this browser; the server never sees them.
DEPOSIT WALLET
Your Polymarket balance lives in a smart wallet (deposit wallet) controlled by your connected key. It is derived deterministically — same address as on polymarket.com.
APPROVE TOKENS
The V2 exchanges need one-time pUSD + outcome-token approvals from your deposit wallet. These are gasless and run through Polymarket’s relayer, so they’re completed once on polymarket.com (Enable Trading → Approve Tokens) and reflected here.
